Good morning beautiful people!

I hope you’re all having a great Sunday. Sundays for me are all about drinking a lot of coffee, grocery shopping and meal prepping, and going to the gym. I’ll probably throw in a couple of kitty cuddles too, for good measure.

Saturdays, however, are for adventures.

Yesterday, the boyfriend and I decided to drive down to Portland for the day. I just wanted a chill day away from home checking out cute shops, taking photos, and enjoying a latte.

We spent the first half of our day in Portland. We started off by going to a couple thrift shops (unfortunately, I found literally. nothing. Do you know how hard it is to not find anything you want to buy in a thrift shop?). Then we walked around north Portland wandering in and out of shops. We went to Land Gallary, where, despite how small the shop is, I swear I could spend hours. We ended up buying three prints by local artist Jenny Tiffany. Such cute artwork, I can’t wait to hang these up in my kitchen (alongside another print of hers I bought last time i went to Land).

For lunch, we went to Samurai Blue and got some sushi. Some really bomb sushi.

Check it out. That is some mouth-watering delicious looking shrimp tempura. If you aren’t drooling, then I don’t think we can be friends.

After all of that good stuff and some less exciting stuff in the middle, we made it to Woodburn to go to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm. I was pretty bummed that it’s almost the end of the season and knew the tulips wouldn’t look as great as they would have at the beginning of the month, but it turned out pretty great because there were not very many people there.

I’m still figuring out my camera, and editing, so please excuse my overexposed shots. Also, excuse the tulips who have definitely seen better days. It’s been a long spring for them.

I loved the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm! I’m definitely going to try and make it earlier next year so I can get some better pictures and the flowers will be in better shape 🙂

What did you do this weekend?
